ebay or cut springs
measure 2" from the top of your springs and cut..

Ground Control adjustable springs are in the $300 area. Then buy new shocks, prefer Koni Yellows and you can run a 3inch drop with out to much of an issue. Otherwise, buy actual coilovers or airbags.

get a few or just one really big friend. Get him to sit on car and while spring is compressed take some industrial tie wraps and wrap the springs while compressed. Will lower it and cost you less than 10 bucks!

Suspension is one of the things you don't wanna go cheap on.

How are the Megan springs in terms of drop/price/ride quality?
Amazon sells them for about $100 and Megan claims a 2" drop in the front and 1.75" in the back

The name of this thread SCREAMS terrible things lol.

See how long that lasts lol
I have heard of people compressing their OEM springs while heating them up with a torch so when it cools off, they are shorter. But this sounds to me like a really bad idea. It sounds like it could severely compromise the strength of the spring, and I don't know about you, but I don't want to be stuck on the side of the road with broken springs. Someone correct me on that if I'm wrong, about it being a bad idea. I'm just speculating.
