ok i so i have learned that when i swap out my 5sfe for a 3sgte that i can use my stock tranny, i just need to get that hybrid clutch setup. now my question is. can i instead of doing the hybrid deal, could i just buy like a stage 2 or 3 clutch kit for the 3sgte? will that work? or do i have to use the hybrid set up?

No because if you get a clutch kit specifically for the 3sgte the clutch disc wont work with the 5s trans.

You can get a kit from Dr. Tweak. The Doc will hook you up with a solid set-up.

Or you can order it individually 3s pressure plate and a 5s clutch disc and you'll be good.

you can also have spec or ACT make you a 3s disk with the 5s spline.
in fact, ANY clutch company can set you up with a solid setup, just a matter of calling and telling them what you want.
