Well I have an opportunity to get a brand new pre drilled and primered full VIS invader kit for $708 shipped, should i get it?
VIS Kit - 6G Celicas Forums
That seems kind of pricey to me, but if the fit is perfect, then it might be a good deal.
New Toyota project coming soon...
you can get the full kit for like 435 i think
www.cyberbestbuy.com
someone on here got it and it was primered, sanded, etc. fit like perfect.

Ya that sounds kinda steep for the price.

Um...buying directly from VIS the front end ONLY is $400+. I ordered my Invader front end yesterday, so this is an up to date price, however I only pay cost so cut about 33% off.
$700 is a decent price for the ENTIRE 4 piece kit. Especially since its going to be including shipping.

How did you do it for 150? thats below wholesale...i got it for 275.
Granted you can work deals and stuff but I dont think he really has connections like that and 700 for a VIS kit still isnt bad.

Well I looked at cyberbestbuy.com and it would be arund $620 for the full kit shipped. Is that a good deal? I woudl rather have a VIs kit..
I just want to know if CBB.com is reliable, I mean, the prices are really low...has anyone bought from them?

In my opinion, VIS is second to Veilside in the "Invader" styling. Make sure its authentic before you buy ne thing.

I paid 775 shipped from vis for my kit about 2-2.5 years ago... fitment was damn good.. only minor little things to straighten out.

99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =)
There can be no way thats a real VIS kit for 399.99.!! These kits cant be universal, I mean like how we have different body styles fog lights and what not. I would buy this thing now If it was a real VIS kit and I knew it would fit a 97 with out to much incident.
dragracing.com, they have decent prices, I was thinking 'bout getting it from them later down the road.
Kuya, ur telling me this AFTER i buy the new front end >

That CBB kit is one piece and the VIS kit is 2 piece, it doesnt have that "joining" that you see there. Neither does the Veilside and its also 2 piece.

Theres no coupe back.
And not everything is MADE the same. These kits have more or less layers of fiberglass. That means more or less lil scrapes and dings that will inevitably happen. I kno someone who bought a body kit and it was real cheap, and it was so flimsy that it could hardly be painted.
Rule of thumb, you get what u pay for.

im pretty sure some company makes a coupe rear.
Ok so who here thinks the CBB kit is worth 500 bucks, plain and simple. I was sold on the VIS but Im real shaky on the CBB.
You'll need to import one from Japan for a Curren.

many people say that erebuni is crappy but to tell u the truth, erebuni has not let me down...fitment was perfect on the 404A kit and it was sturdy as hell...i scraped a couple times and bottomed out like twice but no cracks and no marks or anything...i would recomment erebuni over VIS probably

The way I see it...it all depends what you're going for. The ViS kit is a more close of a match to the Veilside. The main difference being in the rear bumper. The Erebuni rear is clearly a cheap imitation and is riveled only by the CBB front bumper which is definitely fake. You get what you pay for, let's leave it at that. Some people could careless if it's name brand or not. But the Veilside is higher quality and will be a better fit. Just my $.02
Were was the best deal you saw for the VeilSide kit?
