thats powder coated...thats a whole different process...u can just go to a parts store and get some high temp paint, sand it down and paint..but not expect to get a powder coated look...
BANNED. for life, you moron.
Hey Rico, if ur gonna paint it put at least 4-5 light coats. Once those coats dry Put 6-7 coat of High temp clear if there is even any. Oh yeah don't forget primer 2-3 light coats. But to get a valve cover like the one u posted. Try and find a powder coating person. See if he/she can hok u up.
P.s. grab an extra valve cover to temperarely replace the one ur workin on.

powder coating is nice, but it is very pricy. most places will charge you for sparkle, or any speal finsh becaause it requires two coats. sand blasting is also important. it will get rid of all of the dirt and prepare your piece for a nice powder coating. places that powder coat either have a sand blaster or a hook up. it cost me $110 for a 16" gts rim sandblasted and finished in a silver metallic.

Mine too LOL. I figure the VCG is only a year old - I'll have this waiting for the inevitable leak.

i did mine about a year ago. Take the cover off, sand it, spray it and to get the silver lines take real fine sand paper and sand just the lines its super easy.
