Never seen anyone use megan springs, but with that drop I don't know if I'd use them. The Tein S-techs do 1.4 front .9 rear. Its like that to give you an even stance. If the megans are 1.6 front and 1.5 rear you aren't going to get an even drop, and it will look like crap.

Everything else is fine.

tanabe df210 are supposed to be very good and are made in japan
low drop and 3.1 f/ 2.8r spring rates
I would probably go for the eibach springs. I was thinking of getting a set soon myself!

those arent spring rates. spring rate is the amount of weight needed to compress a spring.

almost everyone on here that has aftermarket springs has the s-tech/ gr2 combo. Eibachs and other springs with an even drop amount are going to make the back end look like its sagging. I had eibach sportlines and coomer ended up cutting a coil out of each front one to even out the drop... which was a bad thing to do.

op, if you want to be able to play with the drop go buy a set of ground control coilovers and the gr2 struts. i had that seup on my first celica and loved it. you can change it up from between 1" and 4".

This tells me he is not after looks. He is after performance. I say its a good set-up, but you should upgrade your endlinks to st185 ones and get some adjustable camber plates. What helps out a lot too is a rear strut bar.

I was going to go for the koni yellow and eibach set up. Do you think the s-tech/gr2 set is better?
if you were truly into performance you wouldnt buy springs.

op, to answer your question, koni yellows and s-techs would be a great daily driver setup.

Well im not looking for high performance sport suspension. Im looking for more of a smother ride more comfortable. The roads in ireland arent the best, there is alot of bumps and crap on the road and at the moment my cars bouncing all over the place.

What do you think?

um yes those are the spring rates, measured in kg/mm
ive never seen spring rates listed like that. coilovers go by 6K, 8K, etc.

so im going to still get the basic set up, but im stuck between the teins and the eibach

go look through the members gallery or just search for s-techs and look at the stance. my vote is for them.

Eibach sportlines don't give an uneven looking drop. It looks great with them; I've gotten many compliments. On rough roads however, you're not going to have the most comfortable ride.
