I just watched that on TV for the millionth time the other day - love it along with Clerks (original one) smile.gif

Aliens is up there in the top 5, but for me there are too many to pick just one.

If I could have only one then I'll just go for The Empire Strikes Back.

I recently watched Network (1976) and it's really brilliant & so damn relevant even 30+ yrs later today.
truly much, much more than the "I'm mad as hell & I'm not gonna take this anymore!" quote frequently shown from the film.

I was gonna say the exact same thing however I don't think you can really classify the Trilogy in with other movies - it's not a fair comparison biggrin.gif [And yes - I'm with KS on this one - there is only one Trilogy and it's not of the rings it's of the Jedi laugh.gif ]

i know this is gonna sound super nerdy but the Harry Potter films. the book are the only ones i can read with out falling asleep.
Oh I should add Soylent Green, too. Total cult classic. And Alice's Restaurant - but I'm only adding that for extreme hippy value, it falls into the cult cheese genre for me. I think the only person on this board who will get that is axelrduvirage though biggrin.gif

Is dave chapelle's part big enough that I should buy this movie? - otherwise I really can't stand Mel Brook's movies.

my suggestion would be to skip the movie then. Half-baked/chappelle show humor and Robin-hood humor aren't the same. It's more on the lines of Princess' Bride and Monty Python
Cable Guy

Speed Racer

a few more
The Big Blue
Grandma's Boy
Halloween
Zoolander
12 Monkeys
