Bettie Page died at age 85 after not recovering from a heart attack. I have to admit, I think its kind of sad that she passed away. She was an icon.

Heck yeah! We sold videos of her too. I have tons of pics of her on my computer and my cell phone for wallpaper. Girl was nice an THICK! Even caught her tryin' to suck in that lil gut in some modeling shoots. She did bondage and such as well (to you all know already know, "Duh"), in a time when all that stuff was basically illegal, right? I would imagine so.

I totally know who she is... I saw that today too, that she died. Actually my girlfriend text messaged me about it on my way to work this morning. It is kinda sad... she was 85 though, she lived a long life.

Did you guys know she had severe schizophrenia? I learned that today while I was reading more about her, I didn't know that.

She went into hiding after she stopped modeling and found jesus. I guess doing such provocative fetish pictures in the 50s didnt sit well with her. For a while she was really ashamed of what she did, but later on in life she realized the positive impact she had. She started to give interviews and do a few autographs but for the most part never let anyone photograph her...

Except for this shot of her at age 80.



I dont know what she was hiding from cause she still looked great!

There is actually a pretty good movie called the Notorious Bettie Page about her life on dvd.
