Is it a quality car? I just need a much bigger space for my daughter. She's getting bigger and bigger everday and it's getting harder and harder to put her in the car seat. I can get the car for CAD$5950 with 113000k in it. Anybody knows how it handles? how it performs?

thanks ya'll

well its a solid car my cuzin has one..its not the fastest but it does ok..motor wise..handling im sure a stock celica gt can out handle it. if your just going to buy it to be a DD its worth it. but modding wise youll have to go to the sentra forums..but everyone or forums has there own diss....im sure if u go on there askin if its a good car everyone will be sayin its great and all.
That is so true.. I know for a fact that all of us loves our Celicas although they're slow and I'm pretty sure the guys on the Nissan forums will say it's the best car of the same class out there. From my observation, the SE-R is pretty high as well even if you drop it to the ground.

OMG, so you're saying you've been putting your daughter into the rear seat from the front door..... I can hear my back crack already!!!! Yes, 4 door a must!

But personally, I don't like the Sentra =P

yeha my cuzin has his on sprint springs and it still looks like stock height..turbo charges with nitro..but its still slow compared to a swap celica..
im sure u wont be doing a turbo and all that but yeah a nice 4-door dd is nice and a SER is ok for that.. biggrin.gif

lol... yeah fortunately I'm only doing it twice or three times a week but yea, it's still a pain in the ass. Im not that tall, I'm a 5'7" guy but it is still really difficult to get in there with Zoe.

Runnin-low, yeah I'm not gonna boost it or anything just a DD. I know it has a 180 bhp on its stock motor already. So it's much faster than my GT-S.

I need around 70% more infos and opinions before I make up my mind. I'm going to take a look at the car this afternoon and see how clean she is.

buddy of mine had a SER non vspec and it was slow, and for a car with 4 doors, it had no legroom in the back so i would look for maybe something different. mazdaspeed3 or even the mazda3 2.3 hatch would be cool, and they handle great thumbsup.gif

2015 Subaru WRX. World Rally Blue/Black2001 Honda S2000. Spa Yellow/Black
That is a very low price..I would get it. One problem I heard that was "fatal" is the screw in the intake manifold valve (variable intake length system) can come loose and well..fall into cylinders and boom! Alot of people open the intake and put in some loc-tite on the screws.

I hope I didn't scare you tongue.gif They are definitly nice car, torquy 4 cylinder and a LSD for those snowy roads.

If speed really isn't important then I'd look into a newer Legacy/Impreza wagon. If you want performance then look towards the Legacy GT/ WRX. I hated loading my niece into the Celica, but loading her into my WRX is no problem smile.gif

yes a scooby wagon ftw, but sentras are nice for what they are
i like them- for a 4 door car and if your looking for a daily with a little pep id go for it
well thanks guys, I talked to my wife and we've decided that we'll just wait for now and keep breaking my back till the economy gets better. lol so, we're not getting a car till probably end of next year except really really needed. I really appreciate all the inputs on this thread. Thanks. MODS please close.
