Turning To The Darkside But with Good Reason - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #64694 42 posts Started by Lil-Joe101
So as most of u know Im due back to the states in Septermber and I figure now was a good time to search for a car for my wife. I've narrowed it down pretty solid. Im looking for a Honda Accord. Now keep in mind this isnt my car. This is for her and the lil one. Plus I plan on building it up too. But Im going a completely different approach with it. Im building it V.I.P style. I figure even though she is married with a kid there's no reason for her not to drive like one aka (soccer mom). I figure Id completely build and VIP and give that confidence and mintality thats she's still hot and can still keep it gangsta.

Just an idea but with a Honda Accord

Any thoughts or opinions on this?

get a Cress or a Celsior instead wink.gif still in the toy bloodline

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
i dont think chicks dig that.....at least not where i live
i wouldnt have even known that was a Accord. front looks very BMW'ish, and back late a mid 90's impala.
My chick does, she loves the car scene she just doesnt know a whole lot about them. were Celsiors even sold in the States?

Its not an accord, I used this pic as a reference.

That looks like something a drug dealer would ride in, not a chick.

15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
The reason I want to do this is because, she loves VIP cars and so do I, and out here in Oki most of the VIP cars are owned and built by girls. Guys are more for power and girls are more for the luxery and style not so much functionality. Thats just how it is here. Put ur elf in my shoes. U have a Japanese wife who is going out of her norm so the best u can do is bring a lil of home to her. Plus at the same time its something we both like.

if you want vip why not get a lexus GS or ES or something, or TL, RL
Money!!!! Im looking for something in the 1,300 - 5,000 price range.

If you and her like it, then go for it.
I would say Lexus for around that price (maaah... Es300 u can find tons of those). You can't get anything decent anymore these days for under 5K.

older Vigor or legend. if you can find one that is. but if not the accord can be made to look nice.
dude whats wrong with Honda? its Japaneses, same as toyota biggrin.gif the engines last just as long too

A work in (extremely slow) progress
nothing he just wants a VIP look so it would be easier to turn one of the other cars to look like it than a accord

My thoughts exactly. For the Misses, might as well just get a Sedan and put some nice rims on it for her. Or a SEXY Toyota Tundra! What can be more safe and sexier than that?

I hate trucks myself, but as soon as I laid eyes on that Tundra, I pictured myself a Transformer, and I began to have robotic sex with one. OoOooOhhHhhh......

Anyways, I see lots of chicks round here drive those trucks (and everyone will modify anything in my city. From Honda accord limos - to a lowered Honda CRX on daytons *Throws up* but to give you an idea bout my city, how they will modify anything! Pintos! Geo Metros! Their bicycles if they can't afford a car).

I didn't see the money thing. Well...... I agree with Art again, with like a Legend or something.

not really a vip car.

IMO i would rather have a vip minivan than a vip accord

its not sexy.

yep, I said it.

VIP style should stick to the main big body sedans. LS, GS, RL, and a few Infiniti.

Two locals from my area.
the accord is "not jdm" according to the owner. its on his plate

I'd say get a GS300, the first generations and early second generations can be found in great shape for less than $5k, and can look like this:

Plus you would have a 2JZ, which is a significant step up from a Honda in itself.

whats the definition of "vip"?

chrome staggered dropped? with a lip or foggys? black or silver?
Pretty much, all a VIP car is more of "Gangsta Tunning" if u wanna spice it up a lil. The VIP scene actually orignated from Yakuza, the japanese mofia, the locals thought it was atractive so started building therir cars to that particular style. When u think of the VIP obviously u think VeryImportant Person aka Rich. Any car can be made into a VIP not just ur standard GS3 or 400 of Celsiors or wut not. Plus the reason the wife and I chose the Accord as our candidate is because she like the classiness of it and its small. she's only 5' 3 so a Gs is just too big for her.

Fine. 56K go away. haha

Now If it was my wife and I. I would go with the LEXUS GS300.

I always had a thing for ACCORDs.
I really liked and miss my 98 Accord, but luxurious is not a word I would use to describe that car. When I think VIP style, I think Aristo...

Car #3: 98 Accord LX- purchased 5/06, totaled 8/06Car #2: 95 Celica GT- purchased 8/03, current daily driverCar #1: 01 Focus ZX3- purchased 5/01, sold 8/03
