hi ever1 basicaly lowered my celi st202 6,000 mile aga.found that the inner of both front tyers have worn leaving a quarter of tread missing.so i bought and installed camber bolts by myself and leveled the wheel with a bat level.took car out 4 a drive n everthing wrng.steering is all light and jerky n wont hold straight and when i turn sharp the tyers vibrate like mad it feel lke im on ice all the time!!it is rely dangerous. Can any1 help please???thanks tys
i have thought about it is that the most likely cause?
This sounds like a much bigger problem than just an alignment issue, "yo".

It sounds like you've installed something very very incorrectly. I'd get your ass to a shop.
i dont c what i could have done wrong all i did was change 2 bolts.
your caster or toe-in changed. i know if you put on the camber bolts your toe-in will also be messed up a little.

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
so how would i fix it myself?
you cant. unless you know the things that mechanics do to the car to get the alignment all straightened up. it only cost me like $40 for a full 4 wheel alignment. im sure you can go get it done the right way. its not that expensive, since you bought camber bolts

so this is the most likely cause of my probs?
alignment fixes your steering position problem and balancing your tires would maybe help get rid of tire vibration.

yeah 808, when you change camber, caster and toe are both changed. i would definitely take your car to the shop. get an alignment done. garages have special tools and machines to do alignments, these tools are expensive, but do a great job of getting a car to drive properly. balancing the tires could help, but it sounds like you did too much damage already. good luck though.
