Hey guys i want to change out my fuel filter, except i dont no wuts a good brand and how to accaully change it? I tried using the search but nothing really came up.

just buy one from toyota them selves or an auto parts store

to get to it

remove your intake...box and hose

to get to the fuel filter

on top use a wrench to hold the filter still and remove the hollow bolt on top
repeat for the bottom you dont want to twist that hard line

replace filter

make sure everything is tight

and put it back together

i did mine on my gt about a week ago it only takes an hour

its pretty striaght forward glad i could help

yea OEM cus it comes with a bracket too. Sometimes the bolts are seized so don't force it you might strip the nut or bend the line. Also, use a flare nut wrench.

Yes bending line = very bad, if it's seized too badly you're in trouble lol

I'LL add that i sprayed my bolts to lub them that made it easier on me to loosen them up

so its worth the 45 bux at the dealership compared to 30 bux from like other companies?

There are good brands out there - but guaranteed always right part is from Toyota themselves - never go wrong with them.
