>Well, I have gone back and forth between selling my car and not selling it. But I need some money, and I can't afford to keep buying things for my car just to have it sit in my garage. So I am debating if I should part it our or sell it as a whole. I would like to get 4.5k for it, considering everything that it comes with. The car has 160,000 miles on it, about 3k since it's been turbo'd. No rust anywhere on the car, paint is in very good condition. Too many mods to list, all of them are in my profile as well as pictures. Some things that arent in there, I now have scion tc wheels with brand new bridgestone (cant think of the tire name of the top of my head)...tires alone cost me 500. Tires have less than 200 miles on them. I have stock wheels and tires as well. Along with stock bumper will be a c-one-style front bumper, black primed, and ready for paint. I have many pictures of the fitting, so I can email them to who ever would like them. I have z-max sides ready for paint, and a 404 style rear lip. Also I have gt4 raisers on the car. I would like to see this gone as a whole car, it runs very well with only a couple issues, small oil leak which drips onto exhaust and produces a bit of smoke during long drives. Please pm me if you are interested and would like pictures, but please do not waste my time. I have had way too many people back out over the last 6 months, that I just don't want to deal with it. Feel free to ask any questions, and I am looking to get this sold asap.

Oil leak I believe is coming from the oil pump seal. Depends if you do it yourself or not, but that's the leak. Don't know if the car can drive to detroit with the leak.
interested in buying as a whole. i need to know the car runs perfect though. i cannot get this car and not have it be able to get me from point a to point b. obviously there's an oil drip...any other problems? it'd also be nice to know where the oil drip is coming from please. lemme know

As stated in the previous post, from what I can see, it's coming from the oil pump seal. As far as the car getting you from point A to point B, it was my daily driver until I garaged it last summer. It never left me stranded anywhere, even during the hot months of summer...no over heating, never a major problem.

justin, you should just fix the seal yourself.
its a quite a bit of work, but at least you'd be able to sell it as a solid running car, especially if you do the timing belt as well (which is a given, you need to pull the belt to get the oil pump off.)

If someone was truely interested in it, I would have no problem fixing it before it left my hands. I just don't know if I will get to put it on the road this summer like I had hoped....School/Work/an Hour away kills me. But if I do find time to drive it this summer, I'll be fixing it.

If you can fix the oil leak so it is driveable i can def get this... i was going to drive to kentucky to buy a stock celica yesterday, please lmk i want to buy a car within the next week or so, i have 3.3k atm ( **** prom so expensive, wish my parents had money)

Other than the oil leak have you started the car recently or driven it, and how has it been running.
I would really like to know as much as possible because i dont wnat to spend 120$ in gas to drive out there/back and be dissappointed

PMd.
Price drop to 3500. The turbo kit alone is worth 2k.
hey where in boston are you located and how long has the car been sitting? and If I am interested in the car would you be able to fix the oil leak problem?
I'm over off huntington and brigham circle....If your interested in it, we can work something out on the leak.
so you in the mission area right? is there gonna be some new problems from the car sitting for a yr?

Mission Hill FTW!...I drive the car every month or so. might need some new spark plugs but other than that, it's good to go. Car is actually in my garage at home south of here. I usually do a little work/cleaning/replacing random things every time I go home, so it hasn't really been sitting. It's also started at least once a week while I'm here in Boston.
would that spoiler be fairly easy to fit on a 96' hatchback? if so would u think about selling that seperate seeing how it has lil to do with actual car..
Id rather see it go as a whole right now. If no one takes it at this price, I may part out.
