Hmm... I say get the Honda. That's just me. I'm biased towards Honda motorcycles. I have two Honda fourwheelers and I love the quality they are built with as opposed to other fourwheelers. That's not to say a fourwheeler and crotch rocket are the same thing, or anything close, but I just like Honda bikes.

How tall are you?
Yamaha R1 and R6's are almost the same, but obviously the R1 is a bit heavier because of the motor. They looks sick too, BUT the seats are a little to wide for me. Now I am 5'8" and I can barely touch the ground. I have short legs so its a tad bit uncomfortable.
Now Honda CBR's they feel comfy. I own a 06 Ninja zx6rr and to be honest the cbr feels just like the ninja. They look good to, but I like the ninja better. My first bike was a 94 ninja zx6. Love the way it handles. And I just lowered it, so I can be flat foot on it.
Gixxers, I dislike because of the one piece headlights.
But again its your opinion. Sit on each of them. See how you feel on it. Again there are different things that come on bikes.
Some bikes have a digital gear indicator to see what gear you are in. Helps out a lot when you are on the track. I never know what gear I'm in when I need to downshift, because I don't count.

but i dont want the r1 cuz i think thatll be too much power.
also whats the chances of dumping it? i used to ride dirt bikes a few years ago...then i got my car...and i dumped it a few time but i was being stupid
