A few weeks ago i decided i needed to learn how to paint. And looked around and since i could not paint the dog decided to beef up the mower.

Painting is not fun, lots of acetone, grease, and pain in the knuckles. Bondo aint easy. And if you skim your bodywork and prepwork you are in bad shape. Overall Great experience. And I love my new mower. It was fun. Here you go. The storybook.

Old Troy build mower.



took engine out



bare metal



rust.



sanding and feathering



bondo and primer



lots of white, Rust oleum





after many coats, prep and coats wetsand etc.

Looks awsome may have to do this to my mower. at first i didnt know what to think than i saw the trd mower and that was by far the highlight of my day until the cardinals win the superbowl LOL

awesome, that trd sticker gives the mower 26.5hp instantly.

Now all you need is a k&n drop in filter or a cold air intake, lol. biggrin.gif

looks good! hopefully the rust wont come through again...
