It's not advised to use a USED waterpump.
if going through all the trouble of replacing a water pump, might as well replace it with a new one so you don't have to do it again. I just pulled my water pump out tonght actually... you might as well change the timing belt too since it needs to come off to replace the water pump.
btw, a new water pump from 1sttoyotaparts.com is only like $80. Part number: 16100-79185

Oh, didn't know you had a 3sge. The part number for the 3sge is: 16100-79225 (I checked, it's the same part number whether it's JDM or euro-spec)

i tried that part number and the part cant be found. I dont mean to be a hassle but my cars water leaks when i have come to a complete stop and shut off the engine does that mean its jus a seal thats gone bad or its the whole water pump?

could be anywhere. you'd have to pinpoint exactly where it was leaking from, or at least the general vicinity so you know what to look for.
if you do end up needing the pump, take that part number to your local toyota dealership and they should be able to get it.
