the stock celica ones should jsut be clipped in there, so you'll ahve to pinch the bottom of them, and push them up through the hood. as far as wiring goes, just wire them up to a switch, or the parking lights or w/e...or do like i did, and cut the wires off, and paint them gunmetal. >biggrin.gif>

okay, I am a mod, I should be non-judgemental. but I can't help it in this case. please, please, please don't put LED Washer Nozzles on your Celi.

Celi = Beautiful

LED Washer Nozzles = Gei
Heh, agreed. Washer nozzles are for Honda Civic drivers that are "pimpin hard" and 40 year old SUV drivers going through a mid life crisis.
when i ripped my nozzles out i grabed the bottom with a pair of pliers and just snaped them off.... it was dark so i couldn't take them out properly. it worked out nice though >biggrin.gif>

Visit My Automotive & Tech Blog.
Gotta agree, don't spoil your car with something as tacky as led washers,

1) Everyone has them so they're not unusual
2) They cost cheap and look cheap
3) they're almost as tacky as the flashing Toyota badge doing the rounds

Use the cash you would have spent on them to brighten up ya engine bay
or somethin else as rewarding >biggrin.gif> ,

i agree with everyone else. Those things are about as dumb as those tirefly things that you put on your valve stems. I know this guy who has a 7th gen celica. I think that it was a trd edition or something. Cuz it had a lot of performace mods and a trd body kit on it. It looked pretty tight then he put one blue led on and one purple led on. And he has purple tireflys on the right and blue ones on the left. His car is red.
please dont put them on man, you'll just mess up your celica, and i see riceboys getting pulled over for having them .
nooo..not on a celica...please for the sake of the rest of us..do not put leds all over your car..if you want to do that you could go get a civic or somethin...
Yeah, I thought about it and you're right. Although I do like neons...I have footwells and am getting undercar ones. I spose that's enough draw on my battery without some dumb LEDs.

Soo....
Anyone wanna buy some LED Washer Nozzles? 3 bucks for both!

LOL >biggrin.gif>

And on the topic of getting pulled over...I can't have that happen or I will get license suspended for 6 months to a year....all over one stupid speeding ticket on my permit. Grrr! Wednesday I take my license test. And about neons...I have the footwells on at night all the time, just because it doesn't look like anything from outside the car....just looks neat when you're drving. You don't even notice they're on when looking from the outside, unless you're standing right outside the window looking down. And undercar ones will only be on when parked....well most of the time.

Heh, we just saved a life.
Well is it ok if I just cut the wire off or something? The previous owner of my car put them in, and I am really ignorant in these matters. I've been trying to get them off, just see the wires go down into a well and say screw it.

ok i have them on my car> i got them cause my old nozzles got so clogged it didn't spray any more. I don't have them on i just use them as washer nozzles. I think they look good when they aren;t on cause they are the same color as the lettering on my celica. but then again my car is black and eveything goes with black.

yea i got pulled over for having them but soon after i had to disconnect the wires. Now i use them as ordinary washer nozzles...hey its beats the black stock nozzles >biggrin.gif>

and in case ur wondering how to install it...just pop out or original ones put in the new ones and in my case i ran the wires along the side of the engine down to the sidemarkers, so whenever i turned those on the LED washer nozzles came on
yeah, i'd have to say no to LED washers, and an even bigger no to LED exhaust, that is the worst of all. About undercar neons though...first i think they look really good, but about legalities...I heard that in some places it is only illegal to see the source of neons, so the bulb, so technically if the bulbs are under your car and not visible, they are legal. it is legal to see the light (like when it hits the ground) but no the bulb. but i would check where you are to make sure on this. I was surprised to hear that though, i thought they were illegal in all states to have on while driving .
i have switches to all my lights, they are all inside and easily accesible. one for the undercar neons, one for the led's, one for the interior blacklights, and one for the tv. >biggrin.gif>

Same here. My old ones went to hell and the only sprayers they had at the store were the LED ones. I had to go on a roadtrip the next day so I had to get them. I hooked them up to my turnsignals instead of the headlights. I think they do look cheesy though.
I have them on my car and I love them. As for getting ticket for them in most states if there the white ones the cops can't do a damn thing about them... there auxilary lights.

and WTF is all this **** about making Celica's ricey??? lets face it most imports are from JAPAN and, with the exeception the the 300Z which is the embodiement of Japan, Toyota has the most "Japanese styled" cars on the market - expessially the Celica and Supra... if you dont want a rice burner go sell your ****en celica and get a cavaliar or neon, lets face it all of our cars are rice burners! it doesn't matter what body kit,rims,wing/spoiler, etc u have its still going to be a japanese car.

Maybe I am a little partial towards "ricey" cars.... hey I grew up with Transformers and Akira so nething that is Amine/Japanese looking appeals to me.

Point is if you like something do it... don't give a **** what neone else thinks about it cuz it's you car! you have to look at it and drive it so make it what you want it to be.

I see alot of people on this site that really don't have **** done to there cars but run around with this "holier than thou" attitude... its bull****! yea this board is for knowledge and opinions, but it seems like every other word is "thats gey", "this is so gey", "thats ricey and gey" and **** like that.

There's just a lot of people here that think there **** is so much better than others and get on peoples asses for the littlest things. I think the people that are new to all of this are the ones that deserve the respect of the people that have been tunning since befor F&TF and know something about it.

Matt you are 100% right on this if someone likes it on their ride do it. No one sould give a **** about what other people think about ones own car. I love my celica and I respect anyone that does something to their ride that i wouldn't do just because it's different.

Everyone on this site wants after market support but think about it. If a company takes a look at this site why would they want to make something for are cars if eveyother person is say that this and that is gey.

Honda owners get so much support cause they are willing to do anything to their cars to make them stand out and look origianl.

Newer cars (Mazda 6) are starting to come with Altezza taillights standard...could it be the future?

Anyway, I was pulled over a couple of weeks ago and got a ticket for my blue LED lights. Later that night I met a dude that has those clear ones you guys were talking about, and there 100% legal. This is a ridiclous state law. Anyway, before I get too pissed your right man, your ride is an expression of who you are, not of making Celicas look better than Civics.
I don't get it... so do we like LED washers or no?

Neverstop, first of all stop cussing, it doesn't help your argument any. Secondly, I disagree with your statement about all Japanese cars being "rice burners". This is clearly not true, check out sites such as ricecop.com or riceboypage.com, the definition of rice in the automotive-slang sense does not encompass all Japanese cars but instead discribes any distastefully modified [sport] compact car.

I think windshield washer leds are ugly. therefore they are rice (to me).
well said, celicas arent rice burners unless you are really gay and make it so yourself...and back to the topic i must stress-led nozzles are gay..

no. we don't. but, it seems neverstop flipped out cause people think it's ghey.. >cwm13.gif>

if you like them that's fine Matt, but i'd never do it. and that's my opinion. to each his own.

and as my cousin that worked for a shop says, "their taste is my profit."

whoooooo whooooooooooo

If you wanted to be really technical about it then yes the term "riceburner" does incompass all imports... the slang started with owners of true muscle cars in the 80's when the import scene 1st got its start. Granted you have a point about some car really being "RICEY" but my point is that everyones car is there own and you are intitled to do it however you want to and shouldnt make dicisions because some people here call it "gey"

PS.. I appoligize about the cussin it just makes me mad when people do stuff like that
