NW meet poll - 6G Celicas Forums

Round 2 for the NW meet poll is up.

I have taken the two most voted for places and number of days and added them to this poll. Also, since July seemed to be the most voted for month, I added the weekends that are in July (except the weekend of the 4th, I assume people have plans for that one).

This time you can only choose one choice below each question, so we hopefully won't have as many ties wink.gif. Pick which one you prefer the most.

Depending on how the votes go for the # of days question, we could just have a 3 day meet, with some people getting there on Friday, then the rest can join on Saturday if they want. Just an idea...what do you guys/gals think?

^^We will definately be going to the go-cart, slick track, and bumper cars if we wind up going to OS.

I was thinking of making a list once everything was decided..but this works.

A meet in Astoria would be cool, ocean shores is cool but nothing their besides beach, astoria the driveable beach is a few miles (ft. Sevens state park which is awsome by the way, camped there for a week a few years ago.) away but its still got lots of stuff their.

but I'ed be happy to go to a meet either place regardless that I dont have a celica anymore.

Its a lil far in advance for me to know for sure, but if Ocean Shores is chosen my chances are higher... smile.gif
I have family there that I'd love to see since I'd be in town...

Sweet, glad I sent out those pm's!

I'll keep this poll up until next Monday, hopefully that'll allow enouph time for most everyone to get thier votes in.

I will be attending. My 5GC will be dropped 2in by then and i have my new jdm clear corner lights on the way. May also have my new steering wheel and racing seats by then as well. Bring your walkie talkies if you have them and if you have hot lady friends whom might be interested in posing with the cars please do bring them. For those of you in the WA and northern OR area there is a meet also on april 5th, for information on this meet shoot me a pm i check the forum daily so i will get back to you with all the needed info as soon as i get the pm.

Sounds like fun. I'd like to make it, but i'm planning on being in Cali the first two weeks of July. So I could only make it if it ended up being July 24-26. Keep that in mind when you finally decide on a date. wink.gif

Well the date is decided by majority vote, so whichever date winds up having the most votes will be when we are having the meet wink.gif

creis and I can rep the 6gc/suby crew. I'm down for either locations, but voted OS just because it's closer. I'll ask my friend Timo if he'd like to bring his alltrac along as well.

It's a bit far out for me to be positive on going, but a nice vacation to the beach would be fun.

I'm assuming we'll be camping? We might want to start reserving a few sites now.

camping would be a blast espically if we got a big group site and we had all the celi's parked in a semi circle around the fire and all of us around the fire i think that might be a pretty neat photo op too!

Since it seems people want to go camping, I checked out some campgrounds around both Astoria and Ocean Shores.

Our best bet for Astoria is Fort Stevens State Park http://www.oregonstateparks.org/park_179.php It's about 20 minutes from Atoria

For Ocean Shores it would be Ocean City State Park http://www.parks.wa.gov/parkpage.asp?selec...ty&pageno=1 which is just 1 mile noth of Ocean Shores.

Finalize the dates. I'd rather camp than go to a hotel.
