Ok, so I hit up the junkyards today and came up pretty good. Orignally I went in looking for my drivers side high beam (current one is full of water and its all rusty) and I actually found one. The guy there gave me a pretty good sale, got the light for only $25....Anyway, after I pulled that off I started to wonder around. I found a smashed Honda Accord with a Magnaflow exhaust on it. I talked to the guy and he told me he would give it up for $30 bucks. I couldn't resist the sale so I ended up getting it.

I pulled off the muffler, here is what it looked like


I got some engine degreaser and went down to one of those self car washes. I used the pressure washer to get all the gunk off. Here is what it looked like after the wash and after I polished it with some never dull.




Currently I have a canister style exhaust made by "neutron". This exhuast is EXTREMLEY loud. I have been pulled over numerous times for it which is why I am considering swapping it out. The only delima I have is if I don't like the sound of the Magnaflow I am going to put my old exhaust back on. So rather than spend the money to swap back and forth I wanted to see if anyone could give me an idea of how it will sound. And if anyone has a similar Magnaflow (I have no idea what model this is) that could either post a vid or audio or just give me an idea of the sound that would be great.

i have the same one on my car.at idle its pretty quiet, although i do have a resonator too. but it does sound pretty damn good. magnaflow calls it a street series muffler where as their race series is more "open" flow.

Magnaflow muffler and resonator through a full custom 3" exhaust. Kinda hard to capture on video how truly good it sounds.

Magnaflows sound great. I love mine.
Its a very raspy growl sound.

i agree, magnaflow race series is the same one i have. You won't be let down. Especially when you hear your car do a drive by, thats when you can hear how nice it is!!

Thanks for the replies guys, I went ahead and put it on. Mine sounds pretty close to how Lagos' sounds but mine is a little more raspy. I for sure noticed a difference, car seems to take off quicker now. This one's probably got more back pressure then the one I had but I do like the magnaflow better. I'll see if I can take a vid tonight and post it up, thanks again for the replies.
