i was looking into this before i went to the 3s...i have seen a 4a head swap on a 7a before but theres a few things that have to be changed....i found this and its pretty much what i would do:

4AGE (16 valve) head
2ZZ (11.25 compression?) pistons and rods
jac knife the crank
CRANE CAMS RPM 2600-6000; Adv. Dur. 292 Int./302 Exh.; Valve Lift .458 Int./.472 Exh.; Lobe Angle 110 deg.;
PACESETTER HEADER
OEM exhaust (less the resonator and cat)
extreme port and polish on the head
HKS valve springs
HKS adjustable cam gears

If you can source parts for cheap, or patient enough to collect the parts then go ahead. I'm in the same boat, because my car is one of the two ST in our local group and auto if I might add. Everyone's got either turbo or a 3s swap and I'm leaning more of being one of a kind. *7AGZE* biggrin.gif
