Gutted celica weight - 6G Celicas Forums

Anyone know what the celica weighs when all unnecessary parts are taken out?
Anyone here tried it?
I'm trying to compete with civics at the track but they are just too damn light. The 3SGE and B16A have roughly same HP.

The Celica will weigh more but is more aero-ed then a civic. Are you planning about dragracing or racing on a track?

the 3S-GE or 3S-GTE? The B16A only has like 127hp if that. the 3s-ge has anywhere from 138 to 197 hp. Depends if you have the VVT-i or not. I know that the B16A only has that much cuz I used to work at a honda dealership.
