brembo blanks with some green stuff

stock front rotor pooped on the floor

new blackdashes with some red stuff

the EBC representative told me that i should be running yellow stuff up in the front. but i didnt have $150 to spend at that moment smile.gif

very nice! much difference? I can only imagine they'd heat up alot slower.
I have ebc red and green stuff on my racecar and when they're hot they really bite. but don't go to crazy because they will burn tongue.gif
i havent really pushed them yet.
im making sure the reds up front settle in to the new rotors. since they got a little ribbed from the previous rotors.

very nice mike...i know you like being super sneaky, but if you tell us what your looking at/buying, we might be able to direct you in a way thats cheaper. but thats up to you...

cars looking super clean man, props on that

im looking into the rear diffuser now, but i still think i rather bite the bullit and just get the full bumper

looks good on your car though...hopefully we can meet up sometime soon so i can check out the new mods up close

Looks awesome. I need a brake upgrade, my rear drums squeak baaaadly. I wouldn't mind doing something similar like this.

any update on those camshafts Tiga?

ST202 SS-II CELICA threadNew Zealand members check inSticky thread's: How to contribute and troubleshoot.
i dont know why im like that i just am lol.
i love the diffuser. i didnt know i was the first person to put it on the st204. i really dont like being that first guy to get it but it was well worth the money and it was a cinch to put in.

for now rusty there is no update on the camshafts. i think i might replace my cat (its all rusted out) and put my money towards that.
i just started planning a nationwide roadtrip a few of my buddies and I will be taking end of july so alot of my money will go into that.
i will most likely do the cams come fall-winter

when you buying my lips

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
soon my son!

well the problem has been fixed but here where the pics that i never posted.
caliper was sticking and completely charred my new 1 week old ebc brake pads

causing my rim to look like this ( on a good day )

then got it dynoed the other day ( dont even ask for the results )
and took crappy cell phone videos

all i came out of the dyno with was a scratch on my diffuser

lovin the last round of pics man, but you need to come up for the week and let me take care of that paint for you. thumbsup.gif
dont look like you have much bodywork to do, i could get you a GREAT deal on a basecoat clearcoat job that would make that car gleam like it just came off the showroom floor.

dont forget to post your dyno sheet in the dyno sticky in the engine forum, whatever the results, its great to have that info up for comparison purposes.

What causes the break caliper to stick like that? I've been told my calipers are sticking as well but not nearly as bad, because my pads are still in good shape, but how would you fix that?

I just don't want my calipers to wear out like yours did.

i need to give it a good wet sand and buff it out to see what i can get out of the original coats kindasad.gif it has some deep scratches though

there are a few reasons why it could have seized but all i know now is that it is all better now. i am getting some odd noises every once in a while so i will have to recheck it

1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situationエキサイティングカーレーシングチーム!march2010 COTM:6GCfeature2014:january2015-2016-2018 COTM
get it to Manny asap! your photography skills demand a car with all it's panels the same colour! biggrin.gif as i'm sure you can see the front and back bumpers in the pics are miles out kindasad.gif

Id love to have my car painted by Manny. bowdown.gif

hmm nothing worse than brake dust on a white rim (speaking from experience wink.gif ) had my rear caliper seize or semi seize last month, had my calipers rebuilt (disassemble them, clean and replace the caliper piston seals etc<< simple enough if you have the right tools biggrin.gif

ST202 SS-II CELICA threadNew Zealand members check inSticky thread's: How to contribute and troubleshoot.
i knew when i bought them that they would be a pain. but they are fairly simple rims and are very easy to wipe down.

i took my caliper apart and re assembled it and now its fine!

paint will come later haha. it does all suck though kindasad.gif oh well i can deal with it for now

first and maybe the only auto-x event that i will be attending is this sunday at the Citizens Bank Park stadium lot!
getting a fresh set of tires.
what do you guys think.
i have a list of four possibilities
-hankook ventus v12 evo k110

-bf goodrich g-force t/a kdw2

-bridgestone potenza re760

-dunlop direzza sport z1 star spec

ive narrowed it down to either the dunlop of bridgestone.
what do you all think?
its just for the front, daily driving and just this one auto-x.
and they will eventually replace my rears which have terrible camber wear now

1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situationエキサイティングカーレーシングチーム!march2010 COTM:6GCfeature2014:january2015-2016-2018 COTM
i had the KDW2's and i LOVED them to death, do wear very fast though. amazing handling tires

2015 Subaru WRX. World Rally Blue/Black2001 Honda S2000. Spa Yellow/Black
im going for a decent handle and better wear capabilities that why i took them off my list kindasad.gif

1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situationエキサイティングカーレーシングチーム!march2010 COTM:6GCfeature2014:january2015-2016-2018 COTM
i had the kdw2. they were suppperrrr sticky and steering response was crisp.

AND i got 40k out of them. the wear was horrible though i balanced n rotated them every 6 k and they were choppy, cupped, feathered, outer worn out on some, inner worn on the others, they just wouldnt wear right. my alignment was perfect. i would have gotten more miles outta them if it weren't for them being bald on one side and not on the wear bar on the other.

and the noise. sounds like a helicopter is chasing you. besides that, kdws are good.
