Used Side Skirts - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #66255 11 posts Started by celi95
I found a 95GT in a junk yard the front is smashed but it has some nice side skirts on it and I was thinking about buying them. Does anybody have any experience doing this? Any idea as to what a good price would be? I haven't gotten a price quote yet.

The car has a lot of good parts so if anyone is looking for anything I'll try and see if it is there.
hmm id say like 70....no more

the key to junkyarding is trust. if it is a local yard that you plan on visiting a lot get to know the guys that run the place. no matter what make sure to check in with the office. tell them what you are looking for. for those skirts i would probably say between $50-70. shoot em an offer and you might be able to negotiate. good luck. good find thumbsup.gif

It is a local yard. We have traded a few e-mails and photos about interior door panels and the trunk liner. They are quoting $35 for each panel and $50 for the trunk liner.

I am going to head up there next week and see what it looks like. I figure anyone who put that much into the exterior of the car would probably take good care of the interior also.

I haven't done the whole junkyard thing before so it will be an experience.

Thanks!

I haven't decided if I want to get them or not. I'll have to see them in person first.
Are those wheels anything special? perhaps light? tongue.gif
