Hey there

i decided i wanted to make my interior lights blue so i started with the center console with the buttons for what vents to come on the the temp and what not so i ripped the whole assembly out and found that the lights were covered with a green"condom" if you will so i was going to replace that with blue but no one has them anyways i tried something else cheap and i picked up this modeling paint for lights that was blue and painted the lights. Well all it really did was make them a tealish color and the paint is burning off of the bulbs and looks like i didnt do anything to it sooo i amn thinking of doing led lights but i dont know where to starts so if someone who has done this give me some pointers i would appreciate them. thanks

Heh, not a problem. Just swap the 3mm leds with blue leds, and the bulbs with 5mm leds and suitable resistor.

The reason I joined this site was because it had all those awesome How-To's and I wanted to give something back by adding mine. Hope you find the site as useful as I did.
