I'm changing my rear engine mount on my 94 st celica with automatic tranny.
I have manage to take the old one out but putting the new one back in true the 2 crossmembers is giving me trouble.
does someone has any suggestions?
thx!!!
lift the tranny in the rear to give space. that helps. you have to release the front support

I just loosened the bolts of the whole crossmember and jacked up the tranny to give it room to move in. Then the trick is to play with it to get it in.

yup, you just have to rotate the motor a little to gain a little clearance to slide into place.

Hey guys,
Thx very much for your tips! I had to strugle a bit, but it finally went in.
In my case I had to unjack the tranny to have enough clearance.
But I have strugle the hole weekend with this.......my entire body is in pain now hahahahah
Thx again guys!
