Speakers- Kenwoods in the rear, and soon to be kickers in the doors.

Pay no attention to the dual speakers in the hatch, I took those out of the back, and never took them inside.. lol

Dynamated both doors and the trunk lid

As the signature says i did 142.6 Db with my back seat up and my amp running in the middle of its power band.
Planning on doing alot more dynamat and installing some nice speakers for the rear.

I'm waiting on some focal dampering to come in to do my doors. Never ran it to figure out what the DBs are but I'm going to get a new HU and an equalizer and run some SQ competitions.

SQ comps are different than SPL comps. SPL is sound pressure level, basically only for you to show off your woofers. SQ comps are maybe a lot different than you think. My sound system is one of the nicest i have ever sat it(aside from one of the other SQ cars i sat in) but it isn't all about sounding good lol

They want you to take pictures of everything you do and make a write up about each thing and then turn all that into a book to leave in the car for the judge to look through. they want a super clean install. They want sound picture. they want to put in their CD and want to be able to hear the piano in top right corner of the windshield and the bass in the middle of the car. They'll tell you that you will probablly need to add a small speaker in the center dash, and to add to move the 4" door speakers down by your feet to help with the sound picture. pm me if you got questions

I know what SQ is I'm going to compete in the MECA Street class that only uses the stock location from the B pillar forward. We figure I'll have an advantage w/ a stock 8, 4, 1 setup in the doors. But i'll probably compete USACI as well idk yet. Soon enough we'll rip the car apart and take pictures of everything and redo the wires and whatnot. We screwed up cause we didn't take picture of the fiber glassing so we'll have to mock make some and take pictures of it. But i'm completely aware of what i'm getting myself into. It's all about imagery and phasing. I'm excited 'cause its a very technical competition. But i need a better head unit and a thirty band equalizer before I start competing.

USACI is what i competted in, it was nice but did not know what i was getting myself into lol i was rather overwhelmed by it all. I however am not all about the imagery, they tell you that they want to feel like they are sitting front row of a concert or show. I'd much rather feel like i am on stage with the band, so thats how i have it set up
