When i sold the car - it looked like this

A few months later - i catch the car, back on craigslist - marked up to an astonsishing 5500 dollars, looking like this

I think i'll go see if it's possible to cry and puke at the same time kindasad.gif
Are those the stick-on vents on the fender there?
OMG

stick on "vents" FTMFL!!!

Whose car is that? That interior looks familiar. Someone on here bought it? I swear I've seen pix of that interior before and I'm pretty sure it's here
I'm guessing, at a minimum, 25hp right there.
If the new owner did indeed become a member here, he should know i'm very dissapointed in him for ruining my old car. lol
how much did you sell before?
3800 dollars before... and looks like he added an alarm, and some speakers and thinks it will go for 5500. with 180k+ miles hmmmm
Wow... im sorry that anybody would make a nice car look like that... The minor things they did to it, ruined it.

the interior makes my eyes bleed.

why couldn't he have setteled for a rear spoiler??
I went from fantastic to Craptastic.
Same thing happened with my Prelude. I had a 95 Prelude Special Edition, only year they made it, rare options, colors, etc. Was in MINT condition. Guy that bought it had a mental disorder, but had cash for the asking price so I sold it. Tracked the Carfax, was sold again soon after that and I lost track of it. Saw it a couple months ago going down the highway in town driven by a high-school looking kid, lowered way too low, with a nasty farter exhaust, side-skirts removed, nasty tails, and stickers EVERYWHERE.

I've learned to just let it be. If you sell it, as long as you get your cash you should just let it go. It is sad to see people with such bad taste though lol

And sidenote, what is the deal with the stick-on fender vents lately? It seems like people are putting them on all kinds of cars, and they look AWFUL

lol... go figure.

Those "vents" are so terribly pointless and ugly... why why why...................

I just dont get it, why not just stick on a sign that says "I really don't know how to mod a car properly"?

Those "vents" and 3 spoke rims are EVERYWHERE here in chicago... it hurts my head to see people doing the same thing as everyone else! When I was getting my flexpipe fixed the other day, there were 2 cars parked in my field of vision that had those 3 spoke rims and fender vents... and at least 2 more drove by...
THANK GOD someone else in Chicago shares my view. I was beginning to think oems are gonna start offering the vents as a package lol
Honestly its getting ridiculous, especially when i see the vents on cars that have rust! Why would you spend money on plastichrome vents when your car is being held together by its sun-faded paint?. I wish i had a picture of the cavalier thats always parked at the taco bell by my house. he used plasti-chrome fender vents (the large ones for trucks) as brake vents. cwm13.gif not only that, they're backwards. LOL

...i always find myself tempted to talk to these ppl to see what their like.
vomit! i see more of those stupid vents here in cincinnati than i've seen civics w/hid's and 5inch mufflers. its ridiculous, i just wanna reach over and pull them off like.. hey, nice mod does it come in hetero? or in some kind of attractive or power producing model?

At least this is easily fixable...

Stuff like this happens all the time around where I live. Lots of people putting Impalas and Monty Carlos on like 22's. The other day I actually saw a Lincoln Town Car dropped all the way to the ground. It had maybe a 1.5 inch clearance with the road. Some people will never learn.
