still looking for an answer for good quality inexpensive set of speakers
A price range would be good. Cause inexpensive to one person may no be the same for another person. I think 200 component speakers are inexpensive ones and i'm sure most people on here would argue that thats expensive.
infinity kappa 60.7 for components in front. 6.5" infinity kappa 62.7 mid for rear. About $150 for the components and $79 for the rear. Good quality, and easy on the wallet. You'll need a good 4 channel amp to run them.

1999 Celica GT Hatchback
What is your stock speaker configuration? 3 up front and two in the back? 2 up front?
if your just planning to run them off either the stock amp or an aftermarket deck a set of alpine type-s will do you good and can be had for as little as 100 for all four if you don't mind used. they are very power efficient and work well off low power.
