What a beautiful car and is sad one already got totalled






the only information i have is the car was only 20 hours old since it was picked up from the dealer and the guy was rear ended by a teenager with no license and no car insurance.

what????that is the craziest s**T ever what is that on the windows, were they airbags or something.....damn that sucks...hopefully the guy has got his health ......

yup saw it on my local forum its from louisiana, the first camaro in my town got here thursday, was bought 15 min after it got off the truck for $42,000, i saw it in my neighborhood cant wait to get mine!!

sad stupid irrisponsible kid should get a beat down...

Reports we're seeing on the F-Body forums is three hours off the dealership lot. Same as you on the no license or insurance thing. Blood would have been shed. Good news is it looks like the car took the impact well I.E. safety ratings.

i know whats going on here. people get these cars and try to be the first person to wreck it so they can become internet legends.
this happens with every new hot car

Just judging from the pictures it looks like a local street with MPH less than 45. From the impact it looks like who ever hit the car was doing well over 60 and riding a truck or a big car. I think this was a planned accident or the other driver had beef with this guy and planned to nail em.

Well if you think about look how many fourm's this is posted on...this unknown local rapper sure got a lot of publicity sooo you never know...that's why i left the rappers name out on purpose.

That's a true testament to American Cars and their crash ratings, compared to imports. Even so, I would never trade my Celica for a Ford, or a Chevy, especially not with the way the economy is going now a days and with build quality on the decline.

am i the only one who doesn't feel sympathetic..its only a camaro....?

You haven't been in or around new GM stuff have you??? Build quality isn't on the decline, it's been on the rise for years now. The GM build quality on cars that they're paying attention to is OUTSTANDING anymore (specifically, cars that come to mind are the Caddy CTS/STS, Chevy Corvette, Camaro, Malibu, Pontiac Solstice GTO and G8, XUV line including Saturn Outlook, GMC Envoy, Chevy Traverse, Buick Enclave, and lots of others).

Go sit in a Malibu and then sit in a Camry. The Malibu would rival it any day of the week.

I agree - looks a bit fishy... maybe even insurance fraud fishy....

however, domestics are descent cars - i wouldnt mind getting one myself if it werent for the ridiculous depreciation on a new car. The only complaint i have against GM are their SH!TTY fuel systems and cheap solenoids that LOVE to stick and leave you sit (has never happened to me, but most all my friends have had that happen at least once on their new cars within the past 3-4 years (tis the climate for such around here)

If only they were promoting a new movie or something - and used this as a publicity stunt - kinda like that fastlane or whatever movie where that guy wrecked an enzo
