Ex celica owner - just a guy from other side of the pond...Full custom Projects from restoration to performance builds<<<<<< DCw / JDMart >>>>>>>
he's a member here and on celica.net

its a shame he's selling but hes getting a mr2 I think.
I saw that yesterday when checking current prices of 3sgte's. I guess for the ammount of work was put in to do the engine, it may be an OK deal...but there's some body work to be done. I'd also be very weary of that tranny. If I were someone really interested in buying this...I'd make sure to have extra cash around for when that tranny goes kerplunk...because he obviously didn't baby it if the thing grinds after 50k miles.

He's never gonna sell it at that rate unless he gets a kid who see's turbo and wants to buy it. Most car shoppers see "engine swap, done all myself" and they go oh hell naw. Thats the 1st gen 3sgte as well btw...I dunno, i think 10 grand is alot for a car with unreliable work as far as anyone's concered... >confused.gif>
