the other day one of the lights behind my spedometer burnt out so I'm just going to change the color of them while I'm back there. Now i know there's a how to in the stickies, but it really didn't make any sense to me. Can anyone help me out? Thanks.

What do you need to know exactly? The How-to has pictures of each step that you need to take. Which part don't you understand, that will help people on here give you the help you need.

Do you have to solder the LED's in? All I want to do is replace the lights for the speedo and tach, and then the temperatue gauge and the fuel level, can I just use 194 bulbs for that? Cause i've heard you only need 194 and 74 bulbs to do it? I also don't understand where the LEDs go. It has a picture with the entire cluster out and it shows the back, but where do you put the LED's in?

For speedo, tach and both gauges on the right (water temp and fuel gauge) you need three 194 LEDs. When you pull the cluster out and look at the back side you will see three (usually) green plastic twistie-thingies (can't tell what they are called, sockets maybe) two located in the center and one on the right edge just by the mounting screw hole - these are your bulbs. If you have original cluster there is most likely writing on them saying TOSHIBA V-2. You just simply twist them counterclockwise and pull them out of the cluster. The bulbs are just slotted in. Pull them out and replace them.
On a side note: you will be better off getting 4 LED 194s or even better 194 called refractors (they are 5 LEDs angled LEDS)

My lights burnt-out also. I got the 194s & 74s. Turned out I only neede the 194s but I don't have a GT... X2 conus00

Thanks alot, I'm gunna try that out this week when I don't work, that really cleared things up for me. What abotu for teh needles? Is it possible to change the color of those as well just using LEDs?

To answer your last question:
Nope. The needles do not have their own light source. They take it from the three mentioned bulbs. So your needle color is gonna be the same color as the dials. You could paint the needles red and use white bulbs, then you would get white dials with red needles...

It was really easy actually, I managed to get them all changed up, I just didn't bother posting pistures cause when i took them, you wcouldn't even really tell the color, cause I only have a crapppy camera. But yea it turned out really good, thanks for the help.
