hey guys well i just finished seeing the world premier of dane cook, anyone out there a fan of him ??
i thought he was pretty funny though the first stand ups he did were much more hilarious too me....tell me what you guys think??

Be that as it may, i like dane cook... sometimes. I think he's pretty funny but goes over the top 'as his thing' and i find that rather annoying in some instances. but overall, he's got talent.

Honestly,
He was popular about 3 years ago. The rush in popularity went directly to his head, his comedy went down the tubes, and now he is only around because high school girls think he's cute.

There was a full performance where he did just about nothing but make stupid ass sounds.

His new standup follows the ramblings of a demented person. He went from a guy sneezing on him, to squirt bottles, back to sneezing, to ridiculous motions and sounds. I was watching this while semi-intoxicated along with others that were far worse off than I was. The only person who was actually laughing was some 17 year old girl who was trashed.

If you want good comedy, lick up Patton Oswalt or watch more Comedy Central than just anything that includes dane cook.

That's just my opinion though, if you like him, then whatever. I think there are far more talented, less assholeish comedians out there.

Oh, and he rips off other people's bits.

Dane Cook has his moments. When I watch his stuff I tend to get bored for a good 30 minutes then he will say something really funny and I will be alughing again for the next 5 minutes only to get bored again. I agree with others and think he just needs to chill out sometimes.

I thought he was hilarious in 2003, now - its more like "enough is enough."

i still think he's great, i caught a good half of his show lastnight and it was pretty damn funny, i dont think anything went to his head, hes still a comedian and hes still funny as hell, i dont mind watching him, i think he puts on a great show, and hes a very cool down to earth kind of guy. Someone you could walk up to and have a conversation with, he doesnt seem like the typical stuck up asshole where all the money went right to his head.

i dont think hes funny at all. more of a buzz killington, lol

He's got his moments but overall not very funny. I take George Carlin or Jeff Dunham anytime...
