Sad to say this but it is time to move on to a better, bigger and faster car. I traded my car for a 2003 IS300. Financed it and paying $60/week for 5 years. Not too heavy on the wallet. Its got approximately 110,000K on it. I will post pics as soon as I can.
Nevertheless, I will still keep on visiting 6GC.net once in a while and say hi to old friends. My stay here at 6GC.net proved to be very fruitful and educative. I have learned a lot about cars and to think that I did not know a single thing when I joined 6GC. Did not even know where the oil filter was when I joined.... lol.
Thanks a lot 6GC for the knowledge, the wisdom, the friendship, the laughter and everything else in between.
Goodluck to every member's endeavours. May your 6gc last as long as you live and MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU.

Sad to see a member leave, but at least you stayed in the Toyota family. The IS300's are nice, I tried to convince my wife to get one instead of her Maxima but she just can't handle RWD.

good choice for a successor. My next car is going to be an IS350 starfire pearl. The IS line is just...really good.
if i had to get a lexus, it would be something in the IS series... but hey at least you haven't left the Toyota lineup.

Thanks.... yea i don't plan on adding new mods on this really. I don't want to be branded as a guy with bad taste like the other guy on the other thread. lol. It's got Teins coilovers already and has the body kit. Paint is perfect as of now. I think it was just re-sprayed 6 mo. ago. It was really a great find.

To Matt: I'll post up pics as soon as I can. nothing much going on in the hood, just an SRI. It already has about 240 HP with the V6. Don't need more than that power here in Toronto anyway.
To Jason: It is very stiff. The spring rate on the Teins coilovers are very high compared to the s-techs I have on the 6G.

Very nice! Love the color. The kit is actually pretty clean, I love the simplicity of it (other than maybe the front bumper...from the side angle it looks funky)! Love the wheels. You'll have fun with that! It's wierd being in a 4-door again...
