Double-DIN radio bezel - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #67602 9 posts Started by quick_5hifter
Hello everyone!
I have a 6gc GT that came with a single-DIN center console. I've bought a double-DIN stereo and I want to install it.
When I bought the stereo, I knew there were double-DIN center bezels, but I thought they were only available for RHD. Now that I found out they're available for LHD too, I want to buy one so I don't have to chop off my single-DIN.
I'm pretty sure the part number is written on the back of the bezel, so if anyone could remove it for a minute and write it down, i'd be greatful.
Thanks alot!
PS: excuse my bad english .... I'm pretty sure you don't speak romanian at all, so we're almost even hands biggrin.gif

My CELICA
This is the piece I'm looking for, but it must be double-DIN (the radio location should be double the size of a normal radio) and LHD too:

(edit) and that is my actual , it has a single DIN radio space:

I would like to confirm the part number 55405-20210, I have the part sitting in my hands and I also confirmed the part number online to be the correct one smile.gif .

Now maybe you could help me out too biggrin.gif . Do you have the part number for the single din unit?

EDIT: This is what I have,

This is the part # from the back,

Thanks alot!
Of course I'll help you, tomorrow at noon you'll see it written here. It's midnight right now and my car is pretty far away.
Thanks again for your help!
Sorry for being late, it rained alot all day and I had to take care of some issues around the house.
I couldn't figure out the right part number, because there were two numbers:
S/A55405-20200 and
55412-20510.
The numbers are written up side down on the back of the twin "pockets" under the radio. The "pockets" are not removable (unless you really want them to be biggrin.gif )
Here are some pictures, maybe they are more useful than my words tongue.gif

Thank you both for your help! I'll order the part by the last number specified, hopefully I'll receive the right one biggrin.gif
Have a nice day!
I have and now I find myself wanting one - I need help with this Celica adiction kindasad.gif
