I have a 97 celica gt convertible limited edition black and my dads friend backed up into the front of my car causing it to spider the paint and the fender to dent so when i went to go get it fixed the guys couldn't find the black emblem that I used to have on my car anywhere. They could only find a silver plastic one that comes on most celicas. It almost isn't like a emblem it's a sticker but a really heavy duty sticker. I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could find another one like that because it went with my car so well.

it is discontinued.. you can prolly find the t in ebay, but not the celica part. its the black pearl emblems. I got rid of mine...

I might be able to sell you mine if you want one that bad. I'm not 100% sure on it yet though because I'm working out things. If I do though I'll pm you.

see thats what mine looked like but not exactly if it were that it would be able to be put back on. Mine was like a sticker and same with the back, its not metal or plastic its some rubbery material that sticks to the car. I miss it and if anyone can sell me one it would be much appreciated this is like the main thing I'm looking for my car atm.

The material is black reflective, only 96 aniv and 97 limiteds had them. I have searched all over but
have never found any. The one on my gt4 bumper I removed from my stock bumper with fishing line
and double back taped it on, unfortunatly you can kind of see the tape sticking out in spots. I need to look for some
material reflective black about .05 in thick with an adhesive back, I could probably make something pretty close, but
tooling to cut it would kind of be hard I would probably have to hold it with a special made fixture.
JDM guy made me do it.

Edit: the front and rear emblems are also different. These are some custom ones I made out of alluminum
for a guy a few years back. I could do the same but without the cow horns, if I could find the material like the
stock ones are made of.





Second edit: I found some 1/16 in thick black reflective adhesive backed stuff used for house numbers online.
I might try to get a sample and find out about getting some raw material if it looks close to the same. smile.gif

that looks like my symbol. Mine is black and then at certain angles it looks gold,white,chrome.
did all celicas come with these??

Thanks, yeah I made them for another member kind of a one time deal.
I kept waiting to get struck by lighting while I was making them, jesus scares the bajesus

just go to you local yunkyard and get one off another toyota and spray paint it black then super glue it biggrin.gif
