The point of the paintball gun, light bulbs, water balloons, etc. was to be over the top. Way to suck the fun out of it.
You can take the original video and go ride off into the sunset. I'll hang with the new one.
Ken Block owns DC shoes. This wasn't a Subaru ad, it was meant to sponsor DC. Above all he is a business man, and sells product.
I enjoyed the video - does that mean I'm going to go buy DC shoes or a Crawford tuned STI? Nope.
dude you proved my point! He FAIL at selling the product. Its like Tiger Woods who is known for golf; endorsing a commercial with a guy run up and shooting him in the face while wearing a nike shirt. Sure it would be fun to watch, buts its random as ****. What i mean is: if tiger woods went againts a professional paintball gun person 1 vs 1 golf balls vs paint balls. That would be a kick ass commerical tying in what he is good at with some bad ass action. i would pick up golfing.
But breaking light bulbs and getting a beautiful car shot with paint balls doesn't work for me.
that ad has nothing to do with DC shoes!
i mean if they added some crazy heal and toe action shots of him doing those maneuvers with DC shoes on. That would be a different story. This just turn a beautiful internet sensation into an epic blood money sucking ad.
The original video was damn cool. i loved it because it was driving at the purest form. it proved to a lot of people driving a car hard is not some retarded "wrecknessless" but it can be done graceful and be can be as beautiful as music.
