i dont get the paintball gun.

imo that video sucked. It was trying too hard to be a commerical. I can just image some marketing people go... lets see how we can use the internet video and make money out of it.

The original video was better.

Don't act like that wasn't the coolest thing you've seen in a long time.

The point of the paintball gun, light bulbs, water balloons, etc. was to be over the top. Way to suck the fun out of it.

You can take the original video and go ride off into the sunset. I'll hang with the new one.

Ken Block owns DC shoes. This wasn't a Subaru ad, it was meant to sponsor DC. Above all he is a business man, and sells product.

I enjoyed the video - does that mean I'm going to go buy DC shoes or a Crawford tuned STI? Nope.

1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of moneyI'm not really an asshole, but I play one on the internet.**** Photobucket
some things were a bit over dramatic like the light bulbs (he missed 2 of them btw), balloons, semi truck explosion... but the driving was very impressive nonetheless

dude you proved my point! He FAIL at selling the product. Its like Tiger Woods who is known for golf; endorsing a commercial with a guy run up and shooting him in the face while wearing a nike shirt. Sure it would be fun to watch, buts its random as ****. What i mean is: if tiger woods went againts a professional paintball gun person 1 vs 1 golf balls vs paint balls. That would be a kick ass commerical tying in what he is good at with some bad ass action. i would pick up golfing.

But breaking light bulbs and getting a beautiful car shot with paint balls doesn't work for me.

that ad has nothing to do with DC shoes!

i mean if they added some crazy heal and toe action shots of him doing those maneuvers with DC shoes on. That would be a different story. This just turn a beautiful internet sensation into an epic blood money sucking ad.

The original video was damn cool. i loved it because it was driving at the purest form. it proved to a lot of people driving a car hard is not some retarded "wrecknessless" but it can be done graceful and be can be as beautiful as music.

If you haven't picked up golfing from already watching tiger play, you aren't going to by watching him square off against a paintballer. Commercial or not, trying to endorse something or not, it was a dirty video. The driving was amazing, and I'm not going to "not like" this video just because there's a sense of endorsement behind it.

However, Hanyo; he already won. You're talking about it. You're thinking about it. You're going to tell at least 1 other person about it. It's already done what it was meant to do. You lose. Ken won. Oh no!

You must be a non-conformist anti-corporate fanboi. Go listen to Antiflag and complain about corporate whores.

And just to offset your crabby pants attitude towards DC, Subaru, Ken Block, paintball guns, and explosions I have revoked your status as a man, and gave it to a deserving lesbian.

I totally agree. Then again, it does say right off the bat its an infomercial.

Shooting a car with a paintball gun is a sin.

no one here is truely under stand what i am saying.

I am not hating anything here as a individual item. I love paintballing, i actually go paintballing and use to own a spider compact. I love subarus ( awd turbo) and ken is a pro. He is am amazing drive.

to put it in the most basic form. They took good things and took a smashed them together so the end results is Sh1t. I guess i am the only one who see this. kindasad.gif
what a waste of 10:27.

worst video ever.

The video was ok, not better or worse then some of commercials I've seen in past, but it was ONE HELL OF A DRIVING!

We have all seen rally videos and videos of skilled drivers like Ken in a city environment. What I am interested in is if same kind of... fun is possible with your typical gt4 setup or will it require super heavy modification. In my experience subaru wrx sti are almost rally ready right out the box. Considering that I never driven one nor gt4 for that matter I think it would be nice to find out.

Rally cars are basically cars on steroids. Some cost $200K and some cost up to several million dollars. Subaru is a fun little toy. My co-worker owns one and one of those days I will try to persuade him to allow me drive the piss out of it.
