i was reading some old posts bout the e153 conversion and noticed it says to do the swap the shifter selector and stuff needs to be installed to a diff location.......... they said to use the selectors from a gt4....so does that mean whats already on the e153 cant just be reinstalled on the right location for the swap?.....it become scrap?.......and the selector stuff from the gt tranny wont work either?.................also i know i need a st205 mount for it too (i have the gt) but witch one i know its the back but witch one do you guys consider the back since the motor sits west to east?...i was also reading on a sticky bout this swap and seems every one agrees to just have the complete st205 mount and bracket set (all of them)....but that was back in 05 whats the new word on this matter?

thx.......so what did u figure out bout the 205 selectors?.....so doing this i would need all st205 parts?......what bout the mount witch one is the back...the one on the craossmember? or the one up high on driverside?........and is it really nesesary to have all st205 mounts? or will it be fine just to get that one? and would i need bracket too?

you need 205 drivers side and rear mounts, and brackets, and st205 shifter cables.
alltrac outter axles, mr2 inners. depending on your tranny setup you may or may not need spacers.

there are three monts total on the tranny....at least thats how my gt tranny was.........so i dont need 205 mount and all for the frnt one?............and whats the diff be tween the all track and the st205 shafts?.....and what would i use for spacers if i need it?....................sry for the 20 questions...maybe its just me but i feel there is a lack of information regarding this tranny swap......when i do this swap i plan to do a complete write-up on it with pic.

i believe the 205 hubs are diffrent than the st/gt hubs
you use part of the cup thats left over from doing the hybrid axels.
its hard to do a write up that covers everything, because of the diffrent combinations of parts that can potentially be used.
