I'm going to replace the alternator in a few mins. Is there any "trick" to do this like going in from the bottom or is it straight forward as the Haynes book says? Thanks for any input!!

its quite simple, you may need to remove the heatshield but aside from that its 3 bolts, remove -> new alternator -> re-tension and tighten
