Hello!

I got an offer of a turbokit, including this:

- Turbo from VW, starts at 2500rpm ca
- Downport ready welded
- Manifold
- Tube from the air inlet to the turbo
- Boost controller (HKS i think)
- Boost gauge

Its all used, and I do not know for how long.

Thats all. The owner said he did run this at 0,3 bar great, and its ready to bolt on. He said i didnt need IC, better nozzles, better fuelpump to run that low pressure. The price is: $720 with todays exchange rate. (I live in Norway)

Is it worth it? Or should I stay away? Can I get better deals with brand new parts? Please give me some signs, because I have to pay him in 7 hours to get the deal done. Please!
its probably a gt20 size turbo and 0.3 bar is 5psi so STAY AWAY!

trust me, you want a 3sgte (3k$ for 250hp REALLY RELIABLE)

Don't buy that.

Thanks guys, I said no to the kit. I think the parts were really old, and bad of quality. I will prioritize the 3S-GTE swap instead! biggrin.gif
Geting a 3sgte in Norway is hard. They are hard to come by, and a 3s import for U.S or Japan will not be rode legal. I have been on the phone whit Toyota Norway and Biltilsynet (Norways DMV), and it seems that the USDM,JDM Motors dont have some papers thats needed to get the car rode legal. Norway is a **** cuntry for car lovers tongue.gif

Oh? They dont have some papers? What kind of papers? smile.gif I have been in contact with Biltilsynet, and they said that I needed a documentation from Toyota which told me what to upgrade on the car. (Like brakes)

I am planning to talk to Toyota myself in the next week, to clearify this. I realllly hope that this will be legal! GT4 ftw! biggrin.gif
