ok, here goes,
WHY?
it would take a lot more fabrication. way way way easier to keep it in the family.

i am not thinking about it.... but in my town there is a celi for sale with a 2.3 liter supercharged engine which sopposely puts out around 270 horse
hey if i had money like that i might drop in a V6 or even a V8 give the car carzy HP and TQ... just to be diffrente and have something no one else has... or even drop a rotory motor in there just for kicks.... but then agian i really don't think like anyone else.... i also done things people tell me can't be done...

hell, convert it to rear wheel drive and use a buick grand national engine and drive train!
Hanging around minitruckers does this. They fabricate like... everything. Makes me wonder what can't be done...

my granfather would tell me that when he was a mechanic they would have to use parts form other cars all the time... and swapping one engine from one car to another car was something don all the time... but then again this was back in the 40 - 50 -60's in the Dominican Rep.
