ok im looking at getting a car that has a jdm gen 2 3s, the afm was missing and the owner purchased an afm for it with the part number 22250-74060 ive tried to look to see if this is the correct afm but i cant seem to find an answer can anyone help???

I know rx7 single turbo AFM will work, a little richer and perfect for boosting 15psi
many 3sgte owner have it

actually most people recommend against using the rx7 afm as it has a very different curve.
any 90-93 celica or mr2 afm will work. there are tons of them for sale on ebay or mr2oc.

the curve is perfect for boosting 15psi safely, a little richer

this is not good for fuel economy and emissions

Will a 5sfe afm work on a 3sgte? becaue I just remembered I did not get a afm with my 3sgte and the shop that did the swap must have used the olf 2.2L afm. I am just wondering because my car has some issues

good to know i googled the part # and it came up as a 5th gen alltrack part, so i wasnt sure

the 5s is MAP based, not AFM based.
