Ok, so story time. I was watching a movie with a friend the other night at like midnight and his phone rings. It's a girl named Taylor and they talk for a few minutes. He says he needs to get off the phone because I was there and we were watching it. She asks if I'm cute, and me being the smartass I am, says yes. So she asks for my number. Scott said she was attractive so I gave it to her and she texts me.
Right after that, Scott says... "oh by the way, I met this girl online a year ago and we talk a lot but I've never met her... She is from Jersey I think" So I found that a bit weird but figured it was just harmless texting and I didn't really care. Well we talked for a few days now. And this girl is very very attractive, albeit a bit young (she's 18 and I'm 21) and we have talked a lot and actually have a lot in common and seem to have hit it off? If you can say that?
So, with your vast amounts of knowledge, what *if any* advice would you give? She appears to very very in to me and she seems legit. Write it off as some crazy chick in Jersey? Or actually keep talking to her and don't rule it out even though I'm starting my senior year of college at Purdue in Indiana, and she is working in jersey and is 18.

I don't see any harm in talking I don't see y u would have to stop. I wouldn't take it much further tho unless one day u met up in person or something.

The age gap is only weird when one person is either still in or just out of high school. Add 5 years onto that and 26 compared to 23 isn't weird at all.

I say just keep talking to her. It's not hurting anything. You two have never met, and it's a long way from Purdue to New Jersey. I'm talking to some girl in Texas right now (oh, by the way, DEATH, I might be coming to Houston before too long!!!) because I know it's harmless. It's not going anywhere at all. It's just someone to keep you interested, kinda keep you going. And one day, if you do meet up with her, there you go!

Just because she looks high maintenance doesn't necessarily mean she is. My sister doesn't look high maintenance at all, but you'll never meet anyone else who demands so much from you. You'll be able to figure out by talking to her if she's worth it or not.

Yeah she's hot, and that age difference isn't anything. But here is the thing, it would be stupid to date her. Your going to school, you're already real far away, long term relationships don't work especially if you're both going away to school. Talk to her, hang out with her if you want, but don't get attached, despite her obvious attractiveness.

To be honest, i'm trying to date this 18 year old and I'm 24, plus she is from my moms side of the family. (well my mom is actually adopted) we have different last names too, she is actually smarter than I am at school and is low maintenance she is actually cute. do you think tats wrong? Plus she is all the way in Ohio and I'm down in Arkansas. U Tell ME!
