I was at my local toyota dealer and checked about a quickshifter for my car, the parts guy said it was in stock but only for 96+ celicas. He said it should probably work but i figured i'd ask here and maybe get a more definite answer. Is there any difference between a 95 and 96 regarding the quickshifters?

TRD did have 2 version of the quick shifter, but the only difference was the length, the second version ( which is the one they'll have ) is slightly shorter, but it'll work perfectly.
