The Faster Greek Celica GT FOUR - 6G Celicas Forums

The fastest 6th gen. Toyota Celica GT FOUR in Greece (maybe in the world) races in Greek dragster championship.
The owner is a great fun of this car (his previous car was 5th gen. Celica).
The car is modyfied from AT200 (1800cc engine) to 4WD ST205 with 750 whp!!!!
The following video is from the past Sunday in 4th Championship Drag Race 2009.
If anyone speaks Greek he will understand the time.

9.328 sec - 1/4 mile with 251.14 km/h

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
that...turned me on

Glad I finally got times on this guy. He better be under 10 with 850HP (from what other videos of him has his HP as).

I think I hear a sequential gearbox and launch control that thing is just nuts.

it looks like stock wheels too thats amazing they're only 16x7.5 and take a maximum of 225 width tyre

I think you don’t understand. This is car is into drag race, and the rear spoiler cost about 1 sec. to him in ¼ mile.


It has stock pistons and rods dimensions (86x86), but everything else is changed.
It gets over the 9000 rpm!!!!!!!!!!

this looks like a basicly stock chassis celica, unlike the hks celica, and hardtarget.

i feel like an idiot but someone tell me what the port is on the pass fender?? its not NOS purge... exhaust??

It use to had GT4 calipers but the car is a drag race car and the GT4 calipers are heavy. Now it got SSIII calipers and disks.
Also for the races it should have a safety tank, that’s why it isn’t back down fo the car. The fuel tank is now in the boot!!!!
