160 dollar cobra radar detector but i can get it for 80, is it worth it

since i got my ticket i dont really speed much but this is a good deal

if i dont get the detector im gonna pik up some clear sidemarkers or get someone to make clear corners for me

got my cobra on ebay for 45

Im not a fan of radar detectors but if I were to get one if for some reason I couldn't stop speeding I would get one of the best like a valentine one or something, but I say its easier to just not speed on public roads.

ok, yeah what he said...if you get one dont wast your money on a cobra...there junk... by the time it goes off your alreayd on the side of the road.. I used to sell them and tested them all. I prefer the escort 8500, its very nice. saved me 4 times, but i did get pulled once, laser , not much you can do, besides get a scrambler. My friend has a scrambler an the valitine one.. its very nice. but he got pulled for scrambling the signal... so, really just dont speed

Yes they are worth it. I paid around 50 for mine, and it has saved me at least that in speeding tickets. Don't always rely on it though, the best way is visual detection.

same I got a cobra I hid in my dash... it works pretty darn well its saved me a few times now!! and cops apparently cant detect them.... not that they are illigal....

i only use my detector on the expressways...and it has saved me more than a few times. It's not that I speed, but at night, they'll pull you over for going 66 in a 65.

i like my Cobra...it works...but remember....it will only detect cops that are using their radar...common misconception

I have a how to on how to convert it them to a radar jammer... couple of my firends have done it and it seems to work.. non of them have gotten tickets... I was gonna put it up in the how to section but never go around to it
