In case you didn't read my old thread, I picked this 1980 Yamaha Maxim 650 up for $700 this summer, only had 10k miles on it. Been doing some work on it to make it a little more snappy. I really like the old British cafe racer style, even though this won't be a perfect replica.

When I bought it:


Some new mufflers, paint, a few other little mods, and today got the clubman bars in to get to this stage.




As budget and time provide going to go more cafe style: remove the rear fender, get a different seat, 4-1 exhaust, etc.
