Hey guys, why would someone want to put in DENSO IRIDIUM SPARK PLUGS in their celi.
What difference do they(any performance spark plug) make over the stock ones..

"AGAIN... with your factory motor... you WILL NOT notice any performance... "
(unless your old parts were in need of replacement anyway, in which case, replacing them with new stock parts would make the same difference.)
I have change mine for Bosh 4+.
The only difference I see is about fuel effiency, with a little difference in performance, but only for the first month( this is what I call psychologic HP!). Is same as put only a P-flow. You think you,re faster because your motor do more noise!
..and I read about the computer; when you change anything, the ECu change the tuning to get the most efficient tuning (fuel...) It explain why you reset they ECU you get more power...
So , I think doing only a few thing(CAI + spark plug) is equal to do nothing... Unless you change the throttle body, header, muffler with an ECU upgrade.
Sorry Pandeo, you're way off. The Bosch +4s don't do a thing. Same deal as the Splitfires of a few years back. The spark will always travel along the path of least resistance, which will usually be the same electrode on the plug. The other 3 do nothing but shroud the flame front and screw up the combustion event.
To my knowledge 6th gens do not have any kind of learning capability built into the ecu. The only things stored in memory are fault codes which do not change how the car runs (unless it ends up in limp mode, very rare). CAIs make dyno proven power. Sparkplugs do not.
