so on my way home from my girlfriends house tonight a deer jumped in front of me and muffed up the whole drives side of the celi. im prolly gonna have pics up tomorrow after talking to the insurance company.

Prior to calling read up on your insurance policies. You do not want them to raise your premium especially not unless you have full coverage WITH protection against vandals, natural events and other things. Most insurance companies will not be willing to dish out a few thousand dollars especially if your initial coverage is minimal.

i have Farmers insurance and when i hit a deer i only had to pay the comp deductable not the collision. my rates did not rise. deer are not drivers fault

Depends on where you hit the deer withe State Farm. Side of the car = comp. If you tag it with the front bumper, it goes under collision. No matter whether it's comprehensive or collision, full coverage *SHOULD* cover it.

But believe me, I hate deer too. I've hit entirely too many of them. Hope everything works out for the best for you.

well i was told at the toyota dealership when they took a look at it the said chances are that its totaled. but i will hear tomorrow after the report. and my isurance will not go up. already looked into it. i might be able to get it back but it will have a salvage title and im gonna see if anyone on here wants it. it still runs and drives. just needs body work, like it just missing the headlight and cracked front bumper, front fender is useless lol, mirror needs to be replaced and rear pannel need to be popped out new hood or just fix the crease, and then paint so we will see. ill prolly just see whoever offers he most.

its probally still fixable, ive fixed my front end by hand, hammer, and winch

all i gotta do is paint the car and wont be able to tell that the previous owner blasted one at 65mph

@nics yeah you'd love to drive it, but not in the city potholes everywhere!!!! but once you get to the new highways you're sure to push it to its limits
