Topic #70093 14 posts Started by epocsirhc
So a while ago I thought that i got rid of my celica. I got a civic in trade(total pos) and haven't recieved a penny in payment. Funny thing is that the car has been at my house the whole time. Anyways I plan on doing a drop and some wheels on my celica pretty soon! Check out the wheels I got for the civic, too bad they are 4x100
OZ knock-offs. They would look good on a GT-Faux.

Not really sure if they are knock offs, they say made in Italy on the back, however I didn't care because I changed to si front brakes and my 13 inch rims didn't clear the calipers so I was screwed.
They might be legit, but I thought all of the superturismo wheels have writing around the center

I didn't choose them they chose me. I told my friend one day that I got a civic and he sold me these cheap. Anyways enough with the past, I am excited to have my celi back. I appreciate it so much more now after driving this for awhile. What are you guys doing for a filler when you replace the stock radio for aftermarket headunits? I have a pioneer headunit I am going to install this weekend. I am trying to decide between buying Megan coilovers or just doing a shock/strut combo and some new rims.
coilovers!!!
im biased though lol

im glad ur back in the scene though!

What coilovers are you running? If I remember correctly you autocross your celica don't you? You have no idea how glad I am to be back in the Toyota!

If it's single-din, the pocket under the radio will still fit. You should make sure a double-din head unit fits in your Celica though.

I have the headunit and then the cd player factory setup right now so I don't have the pocket. I am going to a single-din, so do I just go to a junk yard and get the pocket? I also decided to get a set of Megan Coilovers from the group buy instead of rims and struts/springs.
Yes. Like I said, a single-din aftermarket head unit will just replace a stock head unit.

Not quite, it is double-din.
It's not a big deal because I think install kits have a block off plate.
You can go the a junkyard and find all kinds of toyota DIN pockets...

I'm sure some do. Like I said up there, just buy a set that's for sure compatible with a 6GC. Crutchfield.com will show you what works.
