Hahaha Faust, you're making it seem like they beat us up and stole our lunch money . Let's just pretend that they were sooo amazed by our sexy cars that they couldn't say anything at the time. We did have some of them coming over and taking pictures of our cars. I was recognized too! When Daniel and I were going to get water, one of the 7th gen owners stopped us and was like, "Hey so what do you have done to your Celica?", and as I'm standing there thinking about the never ending list of modifications where I don't even know where to start, he's like "Hey were you at the Fairfield meet?", and I'm like "ooo yeah, I was there." And he was like, "OOO I knew your car looked familiar but I didn't want to say anything, I wasn't sure if it was you or not haha." And I'm like, "Well I mean, there aren't too many Celicas that look like mine." I don't remember the rest of the convo, but it had to do with how this meet was kind of lame and not as good as it was in the past. Seriously though, the meet is usually much better, I don't know what happened this year, but I'll blame it on the economy this time.

LOL DUde, I was pretty damn sick. But I won't, in fact, I went ahead and PAID for new tires and an alignment for safe travel to the next meet. My last set kinda scared me and my steering wheel would vibrate side to side like a mother. My friend was supposed to hook me up with some tires, but never responded when I was ready. So I had to go ahead and take care of it today, because I couldn't handle it any more, plus I had a screw in one of my tires, they were getting low and all the stores had sucky thingies for putting air in your tires... so it was just time. Plus now that I got some thicker tires, I can enjoy a smooth ride, and the offset doesn't look so bad anymore. Still getting new rims though in the future, after I get my MR2 Turbo.

^^ Yeah I am Flip, but technically I am mixed. Although I just say I am Flip so I don't have to get into details, plus I carry my grandfather's full name who came from the P.I.

I just went with some brand called Sumitomo tires because my friend was going to hook me up and whether or not I got ripped off today doesn't concern me a bit. I dropped $580 today on 225/45/17s and an alignment, since I went the whole period without one on my last set of tires. It was so bad today I couldn't stand it, so I just went ahead and had these put on. My riding is so smooth now and much better than my other tires... I could feel cotton balls being ran over with those things.

i asked cuz u might wanna bring us adobo next time.

anyway yeah i was looking at sumitomo's a few months ago to replace my second set of falkens which lasted me for only 6 months. found some cheap nexen n5000. treadwear is good compared to falkens, grip is ok with dry pavement, never tried it at wet yet. let me know what else you think of your sumitomos. are they htr-4 all season?

I dunno, so far I actually like my Sumitomos. I didn't know anything about them, but my friend said they are a good brand. I threw them on yesterday. Now I don't feel jack when I am driving. It's a nice feeling. My other tires sucked. Nitto neo-gen.

My brother has Nittos, he's happy with them. I've never heard of Primewell tires either before I got mine, but apparently they're decent for budget performance.

Arrrg I already know for sure I won't be able to make it to the 7-8th meet because I already planned to be in SoCal Nov 26th-28th. Oh well .

wow guys already in a rush to have another meet since so many people didnt show up... Well hows about we do it in a couple of months. So that people can plan ahead and we can get atleast 10 cars to go. Oh and Derrick, it was only 1 person that asked about our celica's, and think he didnt even own a 7th gen.

Also i will tell you the reason why i was an hour late. I thought we were going to meet up at Long Beach Town Center. So i got to LBC at 11:15 since it only took me 10 min to get there. Then when i called you and asked for directions, I noticed that I had very little gas. So i filled up on the way before i got to chino hills. I know i can tend to be late, but i have a somewhat legitiment excuse. I wont be late to the next meet......

dang, I wish our video of the last meet prior to this one was put up. LOL I will go to the Nov 7th then. One day, I am confident to believe Derrick and I will be at the same meet one day, hopefully getting sick doesn't happen again. I think because we had a real bad dust storm like 2 days before that is what jacked me up. Bad bad dust storm, looked like Iraq.

Sorry you didn't get the message earlier about the updated meeting location. That was my fault, I should have contacted you about it since I knew that Xavier was caught up with his own stuff. I apologize, I should have been more prepared. I didn't even put together an excel spread sheet for this meet with everyone's cell number and such.. I feel so unorganized. I still have the spread sheet from the last meet in my car haha.

Hey man, 1 person is good enough for me. I do not mind. 1 person is 1 person more than having nobody give us recognition. You have to keep in mind that Chino Hills meet IS a newcelica hosted event, meaning that they are there for their community and there to see new Celicas. We are a completely different car from the Celica that they know, so I am not expecting them to show interest in our cars. Even if they are rude, I feel we should maintain our composure at all times we are with our cars, as we are representing the entire 6th gen community.
haha anyways i still remember it was funny cause Daniel was like, "oh look someone is coming to take pictures of our cars!"....."oh wait, nvm it's just your car haha." Idk I thought that was really funny haha, but it looks like he did actually take a picture of all our cars in the end .

You got some nice videos though! how did you work out taking videos and pictures while driving? I noticed you took some good rolling shots. It's really hard for me to take a clear picture while driving at the same time.

Faust: Dude getting you and me at a meet isn't even the hard part. It's getting You, Me and Craig at the same meet. If we could just get Tip to come down too, we would have a nice collection of Gtfour looking Celicas and my w/e you want to call it Celica .

I have had people tell me about how they have my parts, but when it comes down to it, I can't get them for some reason because they don't get back to me. LOL And that sunroof motor, even though it is getting cold, so not so much a big deal right now, but would be nice to have so that when I get bored, I can install that.

I'm going to try tomorrow Faust. But to be honest with you... I have no idea what a sunroof motor looks like! -_-*... I'm going to be taking the headliner off, so I should be able to see everything and what needs to be taken off for the motor. I'll try to get as much as I can to ensure i have what you need. I hope the guy doesn't rape me on prices haha. He shouldn't cause I know the guy and he's really cool, but I'm getting A LOT of stuff, so we'll see how that goes. I'm pretty much going to leave him with just a Celica shell haha. I'm surprised no one was interested in a red 96+ front end with fog lights. I have the SS-III front splitters to go with it too. It's ok though, I'm just going to add it to my collection of Celica bumpers. Also surprised no one wanted the OEM sides either! Celica gold! haha.

If I got a post facelift bumper, I would copy Malpaso. Anyway, the sunroof motor looks that of the wiper blade motor, at least from what I had seen. I wonder if my motor would work from my rear wiper? Hmmm... lol
