I have a 1994 Toyota Celica ST 1.8L 7A-FE M/T looking for a good engine with low miles. My engine is burning oil (piston rings) and i need a new one pretty soon. Any one have one shoot me a price, or even if you have a busted up celica ill haul the whole damn thing off if the engine is good. or if any one knows where to find a decent engine, pleaseeeeee tell me smile.gif ive been looking a while, i keep finding corolla,geo prizm JDM engines that apparently are not the same frown.gif

Thanks! for any one who can help me out here

I've spilt my heart into this car :) And I don't ever plan to stop- 6GC for Life ->Semper Fi<1994 Cupra :p 3sgte1995 Celica ST DD1969 Chevelle SSalllll balls. P2 approved!
In ohio, I've found one for $300 with 128k miles. They are called Main Automotive in like westerville. Their # is;
(614)738-5412 or (614)989-4165

I still own my celica, but i'm parting it out and junking it.. Or selling as a whole. Have a honda prelude now :(
Thanks, but i want something with less miles, My car barely has 128k and its crapping out, want to get a less used one and be able to keep it for ever smile.gif

damn dude im at 240k and im still going =]
Yea, 128 k isn't a lot at all. Just sounds like you had bad luck. I'd jump on the $300 deal. My Celica is at 142k and it's running great. In fact, 142k for a '95 is amazing. So 128k for a '94 is even better.

To put things in perspective, my '07 Prius already has 62k on it. So that engine you're getting is essentially 4 years old in my Prius' usage and I'd hardly say my engine is going to be in trouble at that point.
I've got all of you beat, 78k for a '97. biggrin.gif

Good luck in your search.

Really need an engine with low miles, I know the engines are supposed to last a VERY long time but I just need something with low miles so i can take every precautionary step to making sure it will last a life time lol. Would love the 78k engine lol frown.gif

Honestly, I know you're cautious now since yours failed at 128k...but I think you just had a bad engine. There are many many people running so much more on their engines.
